Bikram's Hot Yoga This Hot Yoga series is based on the original hot yoga series developed by Bikram Choudhury and taught by Lisa Wortman who was certified by Bikram's Yoga College of India in 2003. The 90 minute sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises is suitable for all ages and abilities. Practiced in a heated and humid room, each posture is performed twice, 50 minutes of class is spent practicing standing postures and 40 minutes is spent practicing floor postures. Class sizes are small, and Lisa strives to guide each student to move with their breath, to respect their bodies, and to practice being compassionate with whatever may arise in the present moment.

Class procedure: Please arrive early, class starts promptly. Bring a yoga mat and a large bath-sized towel, a large bottle of water and a mat (mats available to rent for 20.-) No perfume please. If you wear synthetic perfumes, please shower before class. Wear a minimal amount of tight fitting clothing that stretches
No cell phones please, on call Dr`s are the exception to the rule Arrive hydrated on an empty stomach and be prepared to sweat
