Relieve body aches, pain, and tightness by increasing circulation and mobility through Myofascial release! This workshop is a great compliment to any type of physical activity to keep your body functioning.
Myofascia is the combination of muscle and fascia that can be found throughout the body. Fascia is the living system that links everything inside you together. Inflammation, fibrosis, and thickening of our fascia can limit our range of motion and cause pain. Injuries, inflammation, and surgeries can restrict fascia and create many health issues. Fascial restrictions can even put strain on internal organs and structures, causing pain.
In this workshop Lisa Wortman, (certified yoga instructor and yoga medicine myofascial release instructor ) will demonstrate how to utilize tennis balls for deep work, to unlock fascial restrictions. You will learn simple techniques that target common areas of tightness around your body to promote more blood flow and a greater sense of ease.
